Paper 1
There was 105 marks allocated to questions on Sequences and Series .This follows the trend in the USA where exploring number patterns is number 1 ,basic algebra being ignored.
Only one question each (25 marks)on algebra, Complex numbers and two questions on basic functions, and 95 marks for calculus.
The word count for each question (except Q 9) was less than previous years. In Question 9 students had to read 95 words before finding out what they were actually being asked what to do!
